The vintage matte finish that gives our flatware its distinctive look is achieved through a stone-washing process that results in a naturally aged appearance. It is this unique effect that allows the Baguette cutlery to blend in with your existing and vintage pieces as if it had always been there.

Crafted from the highest quality stainless steel in Tsubame-shi, Nigata Prefecture in Japan, a region famous for its skilled metalwork. With a special focus on kitchenware and cutlery, the Nigata Prefecture has been preserving and incubating metalwork craftsmanship for over 300 years. Traditional skills have been passed down from one craftsman to the next for centuries making this region renowned for the quality in knowledge and craftsmanship in Japanese metalwork.
